BEACONSFIELD TEAM MINISTRY The Team Ministry comprises three Churches: St Mary & All Saints, St Michael &
All Angels and St Thomas. The team was established in March 1976. The
Churches are diverse in tradition and worship style. Our Team mission is to nurture and build up the body of Christ
through teaching, preaching, healing and pastoral care. We share the task of
making disciples through our engagement and service to the community in which
we are set. Beaconsfield Team Ministry has clergy members dedicated to
particular churches, and others who work across the Team. Together they provide a collaborative
ministry, whilst not trying to be ‘one Church’. In practical terms, the Team structure has a number of benefits,
including regular mutual support between ordained and licensed
ministers. Staff members meet weekly
for prayer and worship, planning, building relationships and mutual
support. A number of activities are run on a Team basis, rather than by
individual churches. These include:- ·
Three Team Eucharist services during the year, held at each church
in turn. ·
Youth Ministry ·
Courses for adults seeking Christian nurture and/or confirmation. ·
Marriage Preparation ·
Outside Giving – In addition to that of each Church ·
An Annual Parish Retreat ·
