	OUTSIDE GIVING ST THOMAS’ OUTSIDE GIVING 2009-2011 Towards the end of 2008, members of the congregation were given the opportunity to vote for the outside causes we wished to support financially over the next 3 year cycle (2009-2011). Following a review of the votes cast, it was agreed that the top three causes would be allocated 25% each annually from St Thomas’ Outside Giving fund: o Food for the Hungry UK (link: Paul Cornelius) o Toybox (link: Helen Buchanan) o Ruth & Derek Moores (MAF) (link: Janet Chambers) The final 25% of the Outside Giving fund was set aside for contingencies so that St Thomas’ could respond to one-off requests for urgent assistance. Each month one of the above causes is featured in the weekly Notices Sheet, where prayer needs are identified. See Links section for connections to the charities that we support
