	OUTSIDE GIVING ST THOMAS’ OUTSIDE GIVING 2009-2011 Towards the end of 2008, members of the congregation were given the opportunity to vote for the outside causes we wished to support financially over the next 3 year cycle (2009-2011). Following a review of the votes cast, it was agreed that the top three causes would be allocated 25% each annually from St Thomas’ Outside Giving fund: o Food for the Hungry UK (link: Paul Cornelius) o Toybox (link: Helen Buchanan) o Ruth & Derek Moores (MAF) (link: Janet Chambers) The final 25% of the Outside Giving fund was set aside for contingencies so that St Thomas’ could respond to one-off requests for urgent assistance. Each month one of the above causes is featured in the weekly Notices Sheet, where prayer needs are identified.
